We’re so excited to invite you to celebrate our wedding! A few unforgettable days filled with love, laughter, and the people who mean the most to us. This isn’t just the joining of two people, but the coming together of families, friends, and stories from around the world.
Our wedding blends traditions old and new, rooted in our Punjabi heritage and shaped by the places that raised us, Malaysia and Canada. We’ve created a celebration that honors where we come from, while reflecting who we are today.
Expect vibrant colors, heartfelt moments, and a few surprises along the way. Most of all, expect joy that is shared, felt, and remembered.

Our Story
Ours isn’t the classic millennial love story - no apps, just family, and yes, a side of fries. Fresh out of university, Pavit took an internship in Kuala Lumpur while waiting to start work in Canada. By a small-world twist, his relatives were connected to Kiran’s family, too. After months of near-misses, we finally met. It was brief, but it stuck.
A week later came our first date at Dip N Dip & Inside Scoop. The week after that, we were tossing fries at McDonald’s, where Pavit said out loud what his smile had already given away.
Though we came from opposite sides of the world, we chose not to do long-distance. Pavit extended his internship to stay in KL with Kiran. Soon after, Kiran chose to complete dental school in Canada to be closer to Pavit. When it was her turn to chase surgical dreams, Pavit moved, first to Halifax, then to Boston, so we could keep building a life side by side.
Since then, we’ve crossed oceans, called three countries home, hunted down the best dumplings (Din Tai Fung still reigns supreme), cooked countless heartwarming meals, Pavit as head chef, Kiran on quality control, built a delightfully competitive board-game collection, and, most importantly, found home in each other.
