Your Guide to The Celebrations
The Guest Edit Kuala Lumpur

You mean the world to us, truly.
We can’t wait to dance, laugh, (and maybe cry a little) as we celebrate together.
For all our favourite people with a few questions, we’ve prepared this little guide to help you plan and prepare for the festivities ahead.

What airport should I fly into?
If you’re flying directly into Kuala Lumpur, we recommend Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), located about 45 minutes from the city centre.

How do I get from the airport to the hotel, or around Kuala Lumpur?
The easiest options are Grab (a local ride-hailing app) or pre-booked hotel transfers. Taxis are available, but Grab tends to be more reliable and affordable. For short city hops, the MRT/LRT train lines are also convenient.

Do I need a visa to enter Malaysia?
Most guests do not need a visa, but all travellers must complete the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) before arrival. The form can be submitted online in just a few minutes, and completing it in advance helps reduce wait times at immigration.

What’s the local currency, and how do I pay for things?
The local currency is the Malaysian Ringgit (MYR). Credit cards are widely accepted, but it’s always good to carry some cash for smaller shops, taxis, or tips. QR-code payments are also common across cafés and stores.

Where should I stay?
We recommend staying near the wedding venues — most celebrations take place in central Kuala Lumpur. We’ve reserved hotel blocks nearby for your convenience. Visit the Stays page for options and booking links.

How do I RSVP?
Please visit the RSVP page to confirm your attendance for each event and share any dietary restrictions or special requests.

Can I bring a guest or my children?
Your invitation is addressed specifically to the guests listed. If you’re unsure, kindly check your RSVP page or contact us directly for clarification. Some events will be adult-only — sorry, kiddos! (Moms and dads, it’s your turn to kick back, relax, and let your hair down.)

What should I wear?
We’d love for you to dress in the colour palettes noted on each invitation, as it helps us bring the vision of the celebrations to life.

What time should I arrive at each event?
Please plan to arrive about 20 minutes before the scheduled start time so events can begin smoothly and on time.

What’s the weather like around that time of year?
Expect warm days and mild evenings — a light, easy-breezy layer is always a good idea. And don’t be surprised if there’s a gentle tropical sprinkle or two!

What if I have dietary restrictions or allergies?
Please note any dietary needs when completing your RSVP — our catering team will ensure you’re well taken care of.

Will there be downtime between events?
Yes — we’ve built in moments of rest between celebrations so you can relax, refresh, or explore the city before the next event begins.

Can I take photos or videos during the ceremony?
We kindly ask guests to be fully present during the Anand Karaj ceremony — our photographers will capture every special moment. For the other celebrations, you’re welcome to take and share photos.

Who should I contact if I have any questions?
You can reach out to Pavit (+1 617-901-7804) or Kiran (+1 857-264-6997) directly with any questions!

From the first flight to the last dance, we’re so grateful you’re part of our story.
